this is for all new drivers (i.e. havent been driving for more then a year...

how much do you pay for insurance on your 240? what kinda coverage do you have and who is it with? also, are you signed on alone or w/ your parents?

anyone that still remembers what they paid is perfectly welcome to chime in as well

i ask this because my GF is interested in a 240 but so far we've been quoted for up to 3000 for collision on a 92 coupe...does this sound wrong?

i have liberty mutual i have liability coverage and it costs $900I got a 92 coupe

full coverage 382$ every 6 months, im age 17. reason its so low is cause my dad has been with them for practicly his whgole life, and he wroks at a power plant so we get really good deals.

I have been driving for more than a year, but it for me it is a lot cheaper to have the car on my parents policy. I get a multiple car discount that way, and I pay about 500 a year for liability. I have a friend that pays about 4000 for a '99 a4 with collision.

I pay 289 ever 3 months (ive been driving for 2 years). The title isnt in my name but it would double if it wasnt. I have liability and comprehensive if ever it gets stolen. so if you figure550 every three months + collision would be an extra 300 so I will say 800 to be safe every 3 months3200 a year.

my brother whose 19 has only had his license for 9 months and pays 162$ a month so it ends up being a little more than 1900$ a year.

Holy---friggin---crap. You guys need to look around. Those sound insanely high. Admitedly you are all the highest risk drivers around, but wow. These are 15 year-old cars.

I am not you, and policies differ, but for my well-aged butt, its $200 PER YEAR for the california minimum on my 91 hatch. My carrier is Mercury Insurance. I hear 21st Century is good also.

i've been driving for about a year and i have just liability with farmers under my own name and i pay a little over 200 a month

i too have liberty mutual and i too pay around $900 for my car with liablilty coverage.

i'm 19 with 2 accidents. both were my fault.

89 hatch, i have full coverage on it, i also have full on a 02 sable, and 01 windstar, pay 1300/6months..... under my name..... august 8th is when i start a new policy.... planning on taking off the van n sable...

about 100 a month for collision and but no comprehensive through 21st century. i will get comprehensive when i start modding the car but my autolock will do for now.
