i am soooo close to getting my 240. only problem, insurance.

my parents said they would only let me get it under there policy, but then it would have to be full coverage.

that costs around 300 dollars so they said no.

so what could i do?

yeah b/c no one is going to want to support a car that is no longer produced, driving the cost of it up. I pay $56/month and its just liability, don't worry about the better insurance till you have substantial mods

my 240 is the cheapest car that i have had insurance wise, if you cant afford 240 insurance i think it would be kinda tough to afford insurance on any other car. my insurance chart ------>240sx< 97 jetta<95 jeep wrangler<98 chevy 2500edit* i got a part time job at subway to pay for insurance when i was 16

i pay full coverage on my 240 cause i used a loan on it, and its half that. your parents must have some bad driving history.

You are 15 years old. You have 0 experience operating a vehicle, and you are looking into buying a car that has been statistically linked to street racing and the like. Yea, your insurance is going to be high, welcome to big boy world.

LOL? i pay $160 and ive had 3 speeding tickets( one of them was going 70 in a 45) and ive had my license suspended... this all happening in the past 2 years.

im tellin u guys,,, get good f***in grades, if you can keep a GPA over 3 they wont give a f*** about any speeding tickets, good grades=CHEAAAAP FULLL COVERAGE

I'm 17, pay full coverage on my car, and I pay 150 a month, which is more than some of you but whatever, and I've never been pulled over. I don't even see a way you'd have to pay 300 for a damn 240.

Wait til you're 30 and only have to pay a measly $16 a month for liability. If I still have my 240 when you turn 30, I'd be happy to sell it to ya.
