hey guys.. im hoping to get a 350z but the only problem is the insurance. how much is everyones insurance costing them? i'm 19 years old and i'm on their policy. would it still cost a bunch if my parents were the main drivers of the car? by the way i have nationwide. your input would be greatly appreciated.

*the 350z that im trying to get is an 05 with 9500 miles for 23950 (base model)

oh dude!

well I just got my 350z a month ago, for 26k MONEY with 1k miles...well i belive after 4 hrs of ACTING in the dealership i got em to kneel to me and ..say, (drama queen) OK I'LL LEAVE IT FOR 26K, WILL THAT MAKE YOU HAPPY OH MY LORD?

anyway, my moms is in the title of the car, she (mom) would have to pay 390 dollars for a full coverage for the car, since its (used) from dealership, basically new, but dealership want full coverage.so, if you dont need such a big coverage, you'll end up paying less than 200 bucks im guessing.

whatever it is, as soon as i pay off the car i'll get the 90 BUCKS A MONTH IN GEICO which i belive is the cheapest in maryland. i dont wanna pay lots for insurance i wont use.. i know BUT WHAT IF YOU CRASH...shh! thats pure bad luck, maybe you will, BUT..if you do, what are the chances that will cost more than you're paying youre insurance per year?

wanna drift with it or what?

anyway, good luck.

Call them and ask them. They'll be able to provide you with an ACCURATE quote.

I pay $117/mo for 12 months w/ State Farm. But I am 23, no tickets, an 03 350Z. So basically what I am saying is go out get quotes from several (5) insurers and pick the best one for you. Remember the higher the deductable you pay the less the cost will be. But thats a risk in assessing how much you think you will have at time of accident or whatever (God forbid). GL.

my parents actually have nationwide and i entered my dads information and it came out to 800-850 for 6 months which isn't bad at all... as for the Z that was going for 23950... i called them back and they told me that it was going for 27 now because it had "work" done so im gonna keep looking.

for the guys who are financing their Z's, how long did you choose to do so ? im looking at 48-60 months. thanks

i know this is an old thread but as for me with Esurance i' getting qouted about $380 a month for 6 months for full coverage on an 05 Z. i have a perfect record and am 19 and have been driving since i was 14 *started with medical emergency license, my father is an epteleptic*. under my mother's or father insurance it's about $120 a month or $550 for 6 month premium.

I'm 27, and I pay $108/month for full coverage through USAA, which isn't too bad considering I have a wreckless driving charge and a DUI on my record; but both are like 3-4 years old...nothing since then.

insurance is all over the place, there are so many facotrs it's crazy, they look at you, your age, your record, even your credit! they look at household composition, marital status, they look at the area in which you live, and then comes the vehicle and the actual coverage, I had my first Z when I was in my early 20's I paid cash and eventually sold the car due largely to the fact insurance for liabulity only was half what the car was worth! and taht was with a clean record and good credit! still a sportscar and they put it to me, heck I still pay about 1 k a year to insure my Z32 TT with a clean record and perfect credit, and it's paid for and we're talking liabuiity only

$65 a month with collision Allstate, 27 years old, no tickets or accidents in over 6 years, ridiculously good credit, $500 deductible, multiple car discount (soon to go away once I unregister my 240sx).

just don't get a DUI! I got dropped by USAA for 3 years and got on with Progressive. My DUI came off my record a few months ago...I was previously paying $1,089 every 6 months with Progessive. I got back on with USAA, and now my premium is $650 every 6 months...that's with $250 deductibles, rental coverage, etc...

Best thing to do is to call the insurance to get a quote. Depending on where you live the cost of coverage differs.

ya... i went with esurance... sounded great at the time, only 180 a month (im 20 with a dui, 4 wreckless driving tickets, and 2 speeding in the last 2 years ) but i got in a little accident 6 weeks ago now, and i still dont have it back.... it wasnt that bad, only 7k in damage (i did a 270 over a curb and into a ditch at about 45 when it was raining) 6 freakin weeks, 5 adjusters, and 2 supplements on top of the original quote. so ya, im gonna drop esurance after my 6 monthes is up... ahhh to be young a dumb
