Im 19 years old about to get my altima coupe soon and im just wondering what prices you guys are paying for your insurance and which insurance you chose. I have no accidents and have been driving for a year now just to give some general information.

Should be cheaper if you bundle in with your parents. But expect to pay around $2000-$2500 a year. It also varies what region you live in.

expect 150-250/month range if you dont sign under your parents, if your parents own vehicle go under their name and expect to pay 80-150/month. Just trying to give you a general idea on the difference. I'm paying 75$ / month if i remember it right, i'm signed under my parents, im 22 years old, my deductible is $500. (Good driver, Student, Color of the vehicle, how many Doors) all count for the Dollar amount you will pay. :bigthumb:

good luck!

Sex/age/location/deductible will have a fairly large impact on what you will pay. I'm 30+ yrs old and paying ~$630/year for comprehensive ins. policy with a 1k deductible.

im paying 80 bucks a month for a 2.5... ins. is under my moms name only lol ins. wouldnt cover me after i got my last ticket...
but i had insurance under my name alone, for an o8 2.5 coupe i was payin $220 a month, but i had like 3 tickets
also where u live, adds or reduces ur risk of accident/monthly payments, also tell the insurance company its just ur weekend or going out car, if you tell them u dont drive it often thatll also subtract some cost good luck! :bigthumb:

i did tell them i was a student to get the discount for like 3 months cuz i never brought a transcript but that was a $90 discount while it lasted :chuckle:

the thing that sucks is everything is based off of tickets... i believe i have 3 again 2 of them drop off mid next yr, but not 1 accident... im 22 now been driving since 16 so 6 yrs without an accident ud think theyd give me a break :tisk: i also almost had a 370 this yr nissan was gonna let me keep the same payments in making for my coupe but i coudlnt afford the damn ins. the cheapest i could find was 400 a month with a 1k deductible, thats more then my car payment:crybaby

I Pay 1500 a year through TD Bank. With my work I get a deal (they pay a certain percentage), so I end up paying around 96 bucks a month. That's full coverage, theft, collison, 1million dollar liability, 500 dollar deductable. Pretty good deal.

I am paying for and own the car myself. I am 25 years old with no convictions or accidents. 1 Speeding ticket.

did your insurance go up at all after the turbo? or did you not tell the ins. company?

Actually, from what I understand, most of the big major companies base your rate on your credit report now. The only thing role your driving record plays now is having a negative effect, it won't have a positive effect anymore. :\
