insurance money to spend! what to do?

so after about a year and a half since i totalled my old 240sx im finally getting my insurance settlement in from my inguries and what not. i was thinking of getting a brand new car, but i loved my old 240 so much i was thinking of looking for a low miles 97 or 98 and going turbo with it. i wanna spend 20k at the most so figuring i spend about 12k tops on the car, what could i do wiht the other 8k? btw my friend can get everything wholesale. he said he can get me a t4 turbo with intercooler and piping and all those goodies for 1,250. any ideas on what to do or how much it would cost. i want to make sure nothing is going to go out on me or break. so that means strenghtening things too.

you should get suspension and brakes before you get power upgrades

yes i know . i wasn't going to def get it lowered but i would def beef up the suspention , breaks, fuel system, and whatever else i needed , but i would do it all at once. i have a car and i wouldn't care if the car was in the shop for a couple weeks. i'd just like to run down how much it would be for everything.turbo ?intercooler?bov ?suspention ?boost control ?etc......

1k for bribing?? Where do you live?

Down here, you can toss them an extra twenty or two, and they won't cause any trouble.
