Insurance for 240?

Hey all. I'm new here and I hope to be posting more in the future as my next purchase in the sometime, hopefully near, future will be a 91-94 model 240sx.

I was wondering if someone can get me an estimate of what kind of $$$ I can expect to be paying for insurance. I am 18, no accidents, no tickets. I know I'll be raped because it's 2 door.

I currently have a '97 4-door V6, it can't be THAT much more for insurance than my current pay (about 2 grand a year).

Call your insurance company, tell them what you want to buy, and they can give you a quote.

bust out the yellow pages and call at least 10 companies... if you are in the Tampa area call Statefarm.... the price was damn near half of most competitors!

i have a `91 240sx SE and the tag in the door says: Passenger Vehicle. my insuranse didnt change at all when i switched it over from my 87 Nissan 720 PU, that was way cool since i thought it woul skyrocket.

This has been a topic several times before....search. And yes insurance is high especially if you are young. RWD small 2 door car.

what carrier do you have dreamer? your in my exact situation, and some companies quoted me like $250 a month. insurance companies suck....

Dreamer is that for full coverage...cause if it is be lucky, in Jersey I pay more than that for just liability, and I'm 20. Jersey STINKS. Oh yeah, Statefarm went bankrupt here and had to pull out...we have something like 3 or 4 insurers to choose from...haha.

Well, my insurance went down when I switched from an 87 Integra to my 93 240SX, so it could be worse. Try Esurance if they have it in your state. http://www.esurance.com.

BTW InstantRice, you can rape the willing if one involved is a minor and the other is over 18...

I'm 17 have one speeding ticket, and pay a little more then 130 dollars a month for comprehension and liability. 91 fastback, no abs, no airbags, basically no safety stuff. not even a rear wiper or rear defroster.
