insurance costs

Just a quick question. How much on average would insurance on a stock 240 be for a 18 year old male with a clean driving record. I have seriously considered buying a 240 lately and want to know what I would be getting myself into as far as insurance goes. As of now I pay about 100$ a month.

Could one of you guys out there give me an idea of what it would be per month for someone my age? thanks

depends, full cover i don't really know, but i pay $350 for 6 months liability:), and am 17 with a clean record.

well for progressive full coverage on my own insurance (16yr old w. permit) a 97 240 would cost me 418bucks =( raped/pwnd/omgwtfbbq

same insurance but for a S13 would cost like 250bucks =(

at 17? yeah I am. I paid more than that for liability at 17 with a clean record from progressive and that was about 5 years ago. unless you have a parent on it too.

Um.. progressive.com is a good way to check what your rates will be and other ins companies in the area. BTW, you'll save money having the car titled under your mother's (not father's) name and list yourself as the main driver, but that the car belongs to the mother.

heh.... i pay 120 a month for liability on a 95 240sx... i think its too much.... especially since if i had full coverage it would be like 400 a month... i guess thats what happens when you have 2 tickets on your record thobtw im 20

i'm 16 and pay 850/6 months for liability and comprehensive, yep insurance is raping me until i'm 18. Thats why i can't do anything to my car except the necesites until i save some insurance cash. o well

I'm 18... have one speeding ticket...and I pay $145month for full coverage on my own policy for a 1991 240sx white... some colors raise your insurance, like Red.

i paid $60 on the 240sx. State Farm insurance, under my moms name and as me as the secondary driver. Liability only. I didnt make sense to get full coverage for a $3,000 car and pay all that a month when i would be paying the insurance company more money than my car is worth.

I'm on my parents plan. They both have never had any wrecks, each only has 1 tickets. I am 18 with no tickets, no wrecks. Basically everyone on the plan has a very clean record. I pay $165 a month! for liability only! We are with state farm, I think we need to change.

This will kill ya all, I pay $65.00 a month full coverage on my 96' 240. I'm 28 with multi car discount and clean driver.
