Insurance after swap

V8 240sx? Sure! If either the chassis OR the engine is non-Nissan (i.e. SR20 in an RX-7 or LS1 in a 240sx), we've done it.

After doing an LS swap, is their anything that has to be done to the current insurance on the car? I amagine I will have to let them know the changes on the car.

You dont have to tell them anything. I didn't and they said if I wanted to cover after market things I just had to tell them and they would but he price would go up. Now if your car is hit by someone else they have to pay for whatever you have on the car reguardless.

If the car has an angine swap and you have full coverage on the car and get into an accident with say...a tree, some will not cover it. Do to the extreme modifications that are undeclared. The best thing to do is consult your ins company. They have loop holes for a lot of things, why would a ins company pay if they don't have to? So if someone is injured etc, you could get boned for a huge amount of money.
