Has this happened to anyone else? I was at a clients' house (computer repair) and his daughter came home an hour later... the first thing she said to her father? "Who's PT Cruiser?" I have never been so insulted in my life But on the other end of the spectrum, I was at a cellular phone store and I happened to look out the window and I saw a young woman looking at my car like it was the first time she ever saw one. So far, I have only seen one Versa on the road in southern NH; it appeared to be a white "S".

The Versa doesn't look anything like the PT Cruiser.

Silly girl.

I think its actually a bit of a compliment. The PT Cruiser was a landmark in design excellence by Chrylser and got peole's attention. In a similar way, the girl noticed the Versa; I don't think she would have said anything about a Ford Focus in the driveway. As for myself, the first time I saw a Kia Amanti I thought it was a Mercedes!

LOL

Usually, I get asked, "WHAT kind of car is THAT?" I've also been asked a couple of times, 'Is that a Renault?"

If you were in Rhode Island where I have family, the question would be "Kindacarzat?"

I parked beside a Megane the other day. The hatch is much different but it felt like these cars might have been designed by the same person! Plus, the (red) color seemed like a perfect match.

The first thing i get asked is how much is that car.. and is it economic.. I noticed i only get asked by the foreigners from mexico visiting from over there. Not being racist since i am hispanic myself. Ive only seen 2 other versas on the road and a bunch of the mexican versions of the versa.. it sucks.. i dont want people to think i have a mexican car.. cuz apparently.. its what all the mexicans drive now. fyi i live in a bordertown.
