Insulator panel

I have a 207 Sentra and when I changed the in cabin filter I noticed a bunch of insulation material embedded in the filter. When I looked in the engine compartment I saw an insulation panel above the intake for the cabin filter. It had 2 holes chewed in it. The dealer said it was called an insulator and wanted $56 to replace it. Does anyone out there know of anyplace online I can get one cheaper? It doesn't look like it does to much to me. Do I even need it? Thx for any help.

Its probably just some sound deadening thing. Kill the rodents around your house that chewed through it and get on with life haha.
