Instrumental Panel lights not working. Please Help

Hello everyone,

So i recently had a problem with my instrumental panel lights not coming on. But it's very weird, here's the situation:

1. I can turn on the lights for the front and brake lights et cetera no problem, they work.
2. Usually when i turn on the lights, my instrumental panel goes on, and the lights for the clock, radio controls, et cetera turn on and the radio station display dims to make up for everything else. But nothing comes on and the radio station display stays fully lit.

Now this is the weird part, when i apply my brakes, everything comes on in the instrumental panel and other lights such as controls for the radio. They are a bit dim it seems as well

If you recently changed any bulbs in the back of the car, one may have been inserted wrong in it's socket, causing the dim brake feedback and no dash lights.

Unfortunately i havent replaced any bulbs recently. And the brake lights are just as bright, it's the instrumental panel and the other lights like the radio and weather control that are a bit dim. I edited the original post as i just checked and its' not very dim, just slightly
