Instrument panel problem

I just bought a 1996 J30. When I took it to get it inspected, the mechanic said the brake light was bad. I've opened up the instrument panel, but I can't find the light anywhere. Can someone tell me where the light is located or if you could take a picture of the light on and showing where it is on the instrument panel, that'd be great. Thanks.

i have gone to the phatg20 site and i typed in My car and it gave no results or any infiniti for that matter. am i doing something wrong once i get there or something. i type in the search box but get nothing.

it is the fifth light from the left (when you are looking at the cluster), it is the light that is exactly under the (E) sign of the gas tank meter.. i hope this helps, good luck.....

PS, i dont remember if that light does come on temporarely when staring the engine... can you guys try it out an update?, thank you

Putting the parking brake on turns on the Brake Light for bulb testing Mine on the 95 is between the H in the temp gauge and the F in the fuel quantity

i probably misunderstood, because i was thinking break light (the light that comes on when you have a burnt light in the back)..... if you mean by break light, the light that comes on when you apply your parking break, then defenately, go with Gerardjg instructions
