instrument cluster

okay, so i had no dash lights in my 87 n/a coupe. warning lights all work, just not the lights that actually illuminate the gauges so I can see them at night. pulled the instrument cluster and replaced all the bulbs, still nothing. whats my next move?

update.... bought a new instrument cluster,plugged it in, till no lights. checked the fog lights, not coming on either. checked the dimmer switch connector for power, nothing there. is there a relay that powers all of this?

It sounds like you have the analog dash? I know the Digital Dash lights have an issue because the dash power supplies cable pins needs to be re-soldered on periodically. That worked for me..

I had the same issue with my digital dash. Turned out to be the headlight switch, if you haven't replaced that then this is probably your problem. Find a new stalk, these seem to be pretty available as about a year ago my mechanic in LA was able to get one quickly.
