Trying to remove the cluster so I can replace a bulb. It seems as if the speedo is not a twist on, but a connected with a nut? I've removed all the screws aroudn the fascia and the cluster itself, but it will only move out about 1/2".

Any ideas?

Didn't read the entire post before. You need to push the speedometer cable into the truck some more. Disconnect it from the gearbox to get some slack and push it in through the fire wall. That should give enough slack to get the panel out far enough to get at the clip to remove the panel. Hope that helps.

It was just a squeeze and pull clip...

Hard to get to and couldn't see it very well...
