Instruction Manuals??

I own a 2000 Infiniti I30 Luxory model. I've tried to get a Haynes or Chiltons Manual for my baby but can't find one. Would it be the same if I just got a Nissan Maxima Manual? And which year model should I get?

Hey thanks a lot. I appreciate the help. But I've already got a FSM. It doesn't tell me how to actually do any maintenance. Like r&r a knock sensor, or r&r a tps, or change out my catalytic converter. You know......stuff like that. I need an actual Hayens or Chiltons. But they don't have any for my Infiniti I30. I'm trying to figure out if I need to get a Nissan Maxima Chiltons or Haynes and use it to work on my I30.

Read the posts here for DIY information. The FSM are really pretty complete, but do assume one has some experience, the correct tools and will study them.

To answer your question... a Haynes or Chilton for a Maxima should work for your I30. Those manuals are good as a step x step supplement to the more detailed FSM.

To my knowledge they're identical mechanically. Electrically, as far as accessories, and interior trim are probably different.

They don't make a haynes manual the I? Keep in mind that the Maxima in the rest of the world is the I30... only the USDM got the Tennessee Maximas we see here.

I went ahead and purchased the Chilton's manual for the Maxima 93-04. I hope that I made the right choice as far as chilton's vs. hayens and year of maxima.
