Instant Cameras Are Lame
Yeah, instant cameras suck. You know, the disposable ones? That's like all we use at my house... not sure why... and I took some pics of my car a couple weeks ago (see "So I Washed My Car Today" or something the like) and all the pictures came out with a bright center area and the rest of it pitch-black! Not to mention that the view-finder was off center cause parts of them were cut off and what was in the center came out about half an inch to the left.... ARG... that's my rant du jour, thank you.
Most cheap cameras suck...I strongly recommend picking up a good used SLR from a place like http://www.bhphotovideo.com, Canon Elan IIE is a decent camera body that even a beginner can use but is still good for an advanced user, it takes a beating too and it's successor the 7E just plain rocks for the price
