in order for the N1 oil pump to function properly, you need the crank collar fitted/ or extend the snout by another mean.

Provided it needs it (probably does).

First, you probably need to pull the engine out of the chassis to drop the oil pan... You do have the R33 FSM, correct?

might want to open the pump and pack it with some engine assembly paste...help build oil pressure quicker.also clean the screw threads and use some good locktite on it, they tend to come apart.

remove crank pulley, remove timing belt, remove crank timing gear, drop oil pan, remover oil pump and gasket, and install new oil pump/gasket and put it back together.

if i install the n1 oil pump to my rb25 do i have to run a drain line back to the sump put restrictors in the head and drill out the oil gallaries my skyline i am building will be pushing around 500hps
