Hey, I have a Z32 MAFS sitting on my desk and no way to hook it up to my intake pipe. As you know the Z32 Mafs has a 3in pipe which cannot slide into the smaller diameter stock pipe. I am certainly not dropping $70 on the Tomei adaptor pipe that still utilizes the ****ty rubber intake hose. The wiring and s-afc settings are easy, but I don't know what to do about the connector. What have any of you guys ghetto rigged or done for permanent solutions? I am mainly looking for a cheap quick solution right now.

What application are they for? Storm drains/gutters? Just wondering which section to look in. I can never find anything in that store except for lumber.

They'll be in the plumbing section, they're meant as connections between PVC pipes, etc.

Since we're on the subject, is it true that you have to get your ecu tuned when you upgrade to a z32 maf? And is it necesary at all to upgrade to the z32 with the stock t25 turbo, or should I wait until I upgrade the turbo?

Upgrading to the Z32 MAF with a T25 won't make a difference. With an upgraded turbo, it's a necessity (other than switching to speed density) since the increased airflow will actually be more than the stock MAF is capable of measuring.

You don't need a re-programmed ECU however, an AFC will do the trick just as well.

A Z32 MAF would reduce the amount of intake restriction the stock MAF has. On an engine that injests larger amounts of air than a KA such as the SR I would venture to say that it would net a few hp gain. The downside to running the MAF would be the drop in accuracy a larger MAF gives.

I decided I'm just gonna make an Intake and do a permanent fix. I thought it was gonna be a lot more, but I think I can do it with...

(2.5"-3") Transistion Silicone Coupler(3") Straight Pipe(3") Straight Silicone Coupler

Hopefully I can orient it coming off the angled inlet to the compressor so that it will clear my power steering lines and what not. If I have to get an angled silicon coupler, they are like $45 which sucks!

I found that http://www.pdm-racing.com is cheaper for hoses, couplers, and t-bolt clamps, but http://www.turbohoses.com is a good site.
