I'm going to assume you actually aligned the clutch disk before you snugged down the pressure plate.

I remember I had help putting mine back in, but all I can suggest is you might be able to suspend the engine with a lift and loosen or remove a mount and tip the engine down in the back without unhooking a ton of stuff. You also have to be ble to twist the trans a bit when trying to line up the splines on the disk before it slides in all the way.

I know exactly what your talkin about, i just did it 2 days ago. what i did when i took the trans out i saw where it hit the the bottom of the car and trans tunnel. i took a 5lb hammer and beat the spots where it was hitting than hoisted the motor up on the front of it so the back tilted down and it went right in. it def took some figuring out, i hope this helps

well i got it in...however i did hoist the engine up to tilt the alignment angle and then i could not get it in and found that the splines on the clutch disk where severely burred making it impossibles to slide the shaft in took it back to where i bought it and they said that it was a factory defect weird? oh well I appreciate the help and suggestions!
