The most important tool will be a coil spring compressor but make sure it's a good one and you know how to us it or have someone who knows. The coil springs if let loose can seriously hurt you or kill you. If not sure get help!!!

I did mine in my driveway without a lift and without an impact wrench. I did rent the spring compressors from Autozone for $40 but got it ALL back when i returned them. The strut to spindle bolts are torqued down very tight, i used a big socket wrench with a 5' cheater bar to break them loose. After that, it was soooo easy. You will definately want an alignment when you are through.
