Here it is the Installation for the asp pulley Not only does the asp pulley cost less the construction to me looks of higher quality. The timing marks are correct too! Anyhow if you have any other questions contact me [email protected] First step remove the mechanical fan by removing the four 10mm nuts.

These are the two pulleys side by side. Guess which one is the lightweight horsepower helper?

1st step is to loosen the power steering mounting bolt (shown below)then loosen the tensioner shown above so you can get that belt off. You will have to push the pump down after you have loosened the tensioner and the main holding bolt(shown below).

You will have to rotate the power steering pulley to access the the main mounting bolt!

I used a screwdriver to rotate the fan pulley so that they lined up. Once you have undone the tensioner, you should be able to remove that belt. On to the alternator belt!

1st step loosen the alternator mounting bolt. Proceed to the alternator tensioner lock bolt. Back the tensioner bolt all the way out. Pull the alternator down and towards the engine. You should be able to remove that belt now.

Loosen the center ac tensioner pulley bolt. Then back the ac pulley tensioner bolt out. Remove the belt(this one should be the easiest.

This was the hardest part of the install. I had to an air wrench with an impact socket. It loosened right up. I did have to remove the electric fan and shroud to access it with the air wrench. The easier way would be to use a breaker bar(maybe an extension) and an impact socket. For this you will have to prop the breaker bar against the ground and give it a quick turn with the starter. That should get it loose enough for you to use a regular socket wrench. Once you have that bolt off you need to pry the pulley off. Mine may have been tougher than yours will be. Use a large flat head screw driver and a little anger to remove it. Once done replace it with the new ASP pulley!

Follow all steps in reverse to get your car back together. Note two of the belts will be different sizes!

The alternator belt is a 290K4 and the Water/PS pumps are a 385K3
