Installing Sunroof Wind Deflector

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

There is quite a bit of wind noise coming from the sunroof when I have it open... My Altima had a sunroof wind deflector and it completely eliminated it, so I'm hoping the EX does the same. Does anybody know how complicated it is to install the factory wind deflector? I honestly have never seen an EX with one, so I'd love to see a picture if anybody has one on theirs!

So it does or doesn't drill into the roof? The one on my Altima looks like it was drilled, and I'm worried about having to do that after the car was built and painted.

I don't know if it does or not. You should be able to call your dealer and ask as that's an Infiniti part

I do not have one on my EX but clipped this from a site selling the Infiniti deflector:

"Easy to install, the wind deflector requires no drilling or special tools. It is easily removed for cleaning. All hardware for the wind deflector features stainless steel construction to withstand the effects of nature`s harmful elements." It appears that they use SS clips similar to other deflector manufacturers.
