okay i was wondering, can you install a remote starter on a manual car?? the booklet that comes with the kit says that the kit is made for automatics only, but i have seen many manual cars with remote starters, sentra's too. so my question is can it be done and how?? from my understanding the whole stepping on the clutch idea to start a manual car was a safety theory. (so car won't leap and stall if car is started and is in gear) but can't you bypass the switch that tells the car that the clutch is being stepped on?? from what i have observed the 91-94 240sx have a little switch at the bottom of the clutch, and when you step on the clutch it just depresses this switch to start the car. if you press the switch with your own hand, the car will start. so just bypass this switch right?? please enlighten me car GODS, for i have sinned (well by not knowing this). this was a gift from my wife for my B-DAY today, so all, please help, and it would be helpful to have the car warm and all when you go in because of this freeezing michigan weather.
