Well.. ive been getting paranoid not knowing whats going on in my car.. so i decided to go ahead and get a few gauges to spruce things up.. I have and oil pressure, Water temperature, and voltage (BS_gauge) it was like 30$ from autozone.. and 30$ is definatly worth my self-awareness of my car.

after reading alot on here, people say that nissan OEM is BSPT. and it is.. On my trip to autozone i got a NPT 3 way adapter so i can keep my OEM oil pressure switch, and the oil pressure light, as well as my gauge. well, to test out what we thought, i hooked up the pressure gauge to the adapter, and it was a snug fit.. i highly doubt this will leak.. we will find out over time..

this is part 1.. of gauge install 1... i will add more later today, as i progress.

Just a warning on using a T right off of the block. I'd be concerned with the vibration of the engine and the amount of weight hanging on the brass fitting. Brass isn't the toughest metal out there.

You may, at a later date, either want to run a short flexible hose off the block to the T and then secure the T to something so all the weight isn't supported by the brass BSPT to NPT adapter.

Someone out there also makes a stainless steel 3-way adapter that would be much stronger than the brass.

Did you use some kind of thread sealer?

I'm also looking to add some gauges as well, but I've still got a ton of other stuff to do and soon it'll be too cold to work on my car.
