Installing new speakers, I have a tweeter problem

Hey guys, I'm putting a set of Alpine 6.5 SPR-60C speakers in the fronts. The speakers go in well but the tweeters are bigger than the Bose ones. I have a few options that I can think of;

* drill out the grill and put the tweeters in.

* use double-sided tape to attach the tweeters about 5cm below where the Bose ones sit, this would mean the tweeter and the grill doesn't match up. Also I would need to drill into the door frame to hold the tweeters in place.

Anyone else done this and what did you do? I'd love your help and advice on this. Thank you!
