Installing new JVC KD-AVX2 in '95 J30, no sound coming from speakers

I've attached all the corresponding wires after attaching a wire harness and I'm getting no sound out of the speakers. I have already reattached the stock bose player to insure that no fuses are blown and that the speakers are in fine working order. Does anyone know if the wiring harness may be different for this car? It would not seem likely since the power wire/ground/ignition all seem to be in fine working order. The player is working fine, showing all options and track progress, just no sound.

There is a problem with my interior lights right not, as they are not turning off when I shut the doors or turn the car off. Does anyone know how to correct this problem, and if this could be connected to my faulty speakers?

Welcome to NICO!!! Im just down the way from south bend.... at least sometimes.

Anyway, one of your door switches is likely bad... If you unplug each one indivdually they will shut off...

As far as the stereo, did you wire up the blue wire to turn on the bose amps?? Sounds like thats what going on (no pun inteded)
