For those that have it please help me out. I hope is a straight put on. Let me know. I also want to relocate my battery to the trunk and I was wondering where everyone brought their kit from. I do believe that the coldpipe is going to need some slight modification, unless XS changed their design. It shouldn't be anything crazy.

For the battery box, you don't need anything fancy. I would just buy the trunk battery kit from Jegs. Comes with the box, 2 gauge positive and negative wire, and all the hardware, and brackets you'll need.

Is there another cold pipe that I can purchase that would fit right in without any modification?

IIRC you can use an S14 SR coldpipe and it'll fit right up. Personally I just cut mine and made a little 45* bend and it fit up fine. I can send you some pictures of mine if you'd like.

the SSAC (xspower) coldpipe hooks down and out right where it should meet the TB

it will work fine if you cut it and use the original hose that came off the TB (cutting it as well)

im in the middle of doing mine, as soon as i have the FMIC bottom secured thats what i will be doing (also a good place to stick in a BOV/Recirc without welding anything to the pipes)

but to secure the bottom of the FMIC, youll either need to cut your frame rails, or make some brackets from flat stock

the way it wants to install looks like a pain in the *** to me, so im going to try once, then make brackets

the screen on my digital camera cracked or id post some pics right now

I traded with someone and used the S14/15 pipes on the cold side

Thats a mighty big intercooler. Dont you think its a bit overkill?

Also, i noticed that you reloated your battery to the trunk. You wouldnt happen to know what the wires on that red clip thing that used to be on ther battery posts are for? Theres 2 wires in a clip thing that i have no idea what they are for, and i see you unhooked em. So i was wondering if you knew.

Your eyes = not good. There is a small battery right there in the stock location. It just wasn't hooked up in the pic. And no, I dont think the IC is overkill.

Quick question... What are you guys with front mounts using for the idle control air hose?

Hooking it up. The pipes in the kit have a port to hook it up.

Hey C-rad, what brand intercooler is that? I agree aswell, it doesnt look like over kill. Id rather have something bigger than to have the engine "struggle or starved." Ahhh me and my made up vocabulary!
