installing msd, looking for per. cap and rot.

Information on the naturally-aspirated KA24E and KA24DE engines.

I want to add MSD to my KA, but i dont want to fry my cap and rotor cuz of the increased voltage. So anybody know where i can get a performance cap and rotor. I have searched all over the internet and no luck. Or is anybody out there running MSD with OEM cap and rot.

i'm running an MSD blaster SS coil with the factory cap and rotor. It's holding up fine. Consider it's the ORIGINAL factory equipment on the car i'm sure replacements would be of some benefit.......

unless of course your talking about adding a full MSD ignition system like the 6al or something.. then i have no clue.

dont wast your money on that stuff. If your car doesn't have "heavy" mods throw your money @ something else. Even KA-T use the stock coil, al they realy gotta do to it is "hot wire" it and it's good for it. I did it on my DOHC and MPG incressed
