Ok so I originally posted this in the Interior Section, but there hasn't been any activity in a week since I posted. So I thought I would post it here since the coupe section gets more action. Hope that's ok with you mods. =)

Ok, so I currently have blue LEDs in my footwells, center cupholders, courtesy lights, and all interior lights. (I also have a custom blue/white gauge cluster)

Well I've been thinking about putting some in the backseat as well. Such as the rear cupholders, and underneath the front seats in the back so the light shines towards the ppl in the backseats feet to give a lil light.

My question is, should I connect them to the current switch I have and turns them on as the same time as the cupholders and footwells in the front?Or should i install a separate switch for the backseat?

I rarely have more than 1 passenger with me in my car. So that's why I've been debating on putting the lights in. What do you guys think?

only do it if it makes the car look nicer to you, don't put it in to impress backseaters lol.

if you're itching to do some LEDs, do the door handle LED, like that guy did on the sedan. Me and surman tried it on my car and failed big time. But I think those are way more impressive than backseats.

That sound awesome, but fairly complex.

Would have to take apart a large portion of the door I imagine. Run the wire through the door, following the speaker wires and such till you get to the cabin interior. Would probably splice it to the dome lights or something, so that it lights up when the car is unlocked.

Damn, that would be cool.

Someone do this, I don't have nearly enough cahones.

thats what me and surman did we took my whole door apart every panel but we f***ed up pretty bad and the glass fell, it didnt break all though my tint got scratched. anyways we couldnt align it back in place for the longest time and then it started raining, long story short we gave up on the project and put my door back together.

but basically its taking the door apart and splicing in some wires through it.

No, they're referring to the BMW style LED door handles on the outside. when you lock/unlock the car it lights up
