How do I connect LED strips to interior of my Altima hybrid if battery is in the back?
I plan on purchasing led strips to install into the interior of my Altima Hybrid under the dash. The instructions on different forums say to connect the wires to the car's battery or a 12V source but since my car is a hybrid, the battery is in the back. Will I have to run the wires all the way back there or is there a way I can connect it to something else?

I only want them to come on when I open the doors so is there a way to connect them to the courtesy lights or something like that? Thanks!!

I don't know for sure about hybrid altimas, but racingline has a good set of footwell lights that I have installed. I really love them, I did have trouble installing them, but they're really helpful about installation! Great addition!

It is completely possible to run the positive side through the gasket in the doors and into the courtesy light circuit and then just ground them negative to the frame up in the dash.... maybe

its pretty much that simple. You can take off the courtesy light cover and tap into the positive and negative wires. Run the wires to where you want your leds to go and connect the wires.
