I recently picked up an Audiovox AA925 keyless entry kit for our '95 240SX SE and have been doing a fair bit of reading to determine what is exactly required.

The wiring comes with "a plateful of spaghetti" but it appears that I don't need to hook all of that up - I'm only looking for a basic door locking/unlocking function.

Can anybody point me in the direction of the simplest/easiest locations for splicing into the following wiring?

+12 Volt Constant
Ignition wire
Power door lock wire
Power door unlock wire
Parking lights wire
Dome light wire

Go to "the12volt.com" that will tell you what wires are what, I did my own alarm viper with all the bells and whistles, for the door locks I didn't cut anything just pulled the connector out used my volt meter to see what's what stripped the wire on the alarm and shoved the appropriate wire into the plug and plugged the connector back, as for the constant 12v you have to find a wire under the dash use a wire tap for that really easy, took me an hour to wire everything up so it shouldn't take you too long to wire up the basics that you want.

Good luck, don't let all the wiring confuse you, not that hard at all, also whatever else you're going to to always use wire connector and don't use tape, also just a tip, wire up the car horn too, no one listens to the alarm siren anymore, at least with the horn honking too people are going to looki also wired the with the connector like the door locks.

Well guess what... I've still not got the remote installed yet - my wiring is not quite what the guide suggests...

I'm using this guide as a reference point:

So here's the car waiting to be taken care of... ;)

This is the minimum wiring requirement to get it working? - apart from the negative wire:

Full info here: http://www.voxxsupport.com/images/User% ... DOC_IM.pdf
BROWN Wire: Negative (-) Door Sense Input Wire
If the vehicle's interior lights are controlled by grounding door pin switches (typical of most GM, Chrysler, and import
vehicles), the Brown negative door sense wire should connect to one of the vehicle's factory door pin switches. In many
cases the factory door pin switches are wired in parallel, making it necessary to connect to only one door switch in order
to detect the opening of all doors. In a few cases this will not be true, making it necessary to connect to the vehicle dome
light, which typically is the intersection point of all doors.
Locate the vehicle's negative door trigger wire in the vehicle's kick panel or underdash. Connect the BROWN wire of the
system to this point.
PURPLE Wire: Positive (+) Door Sense Input Wire
If the vehicle's interior lights are controlled by +12VDC (Positive) door pin switches (typical of most Ford vehicles), the
Purple positive door sense wire should connect to one of the vehicle's factory door pin switches. In many cases the factory
door pin switches are wired in parallel, making it necessary to connect to only one door switch in order to detect the
opening of all doors. In a few cases this will not be true, making it necessary to connect to the vehicle domelight, which
typically is the intersection point of all doors.
Locate the vehicle's positive door trigger wire in the vehicle's kick panel or underdash. Using the appropriate connector,
attach the PURPLE wire of the system to this point.

Brown wire and green white wire location?
Power Door Unlock Negative Wire (-): Brown
Power Door Unlock Negative Wire Location: At Anti-Theft Module.
Note both are negative but I have a negative and a positive door wire???
Power Door Lock Negative Wire (-): Light Green/White
Power Door Lock Negative Wire Location: At Anti-Theft Module.

Battery Constant 12v+ Positive Wire (+): White
Battery Constant 12v+ Positive Wire Location: Ignition Switch Harness
Ignition Positive Wire (+): Black/Red
Ignition Positive Wire Location: Ignition Switch Harness

Any ideas or am I on the right track - I'm a bit hesitant to cut wiring into the module before knowing for sure these are the correct wires and I can get away with simply the basic lock/unlock function?

Just noticed a difference between the Modified Life and the12volt.com wiring arrangements
Accessory Positive Wire (+): White - Ignition Switch Harness
vs
