looking into buying these fogs on ebay. I like the fact it only attatches to the attery for power. seems like the install would be easier then wiring my 2.5 entirely for fogs.

Couple of questions???????I would have no problem wiring the fogs to the battery, but how would u run the wires to the switch inside? also how would u install the switch?

can the battery withstand HID fireup without overpowering anything?

I know some of you think the fogs are skeptical about quality but he has good feedback and this is the only system seeming easier for 2.5 ers with no pre-wiring required. What you guys think?

you would have to run the wires through the firewall. by the break pedal..behind it, there are a whole bunch of wires that are wrapped together that all go to the battery. when i installed my led's i had to run them through the firewall and put the switch right next to my traction control switch.....it requires some cutting and a little force to be able to get through the firewall also.

Matt, I wired my LEDs by going alongside the door just like you did...eight months ago! While it functionally works just peachy, it bothers the piss outta me because it just looks so unfinished. I figured that by using a black wire I wouldn't even know it's there...wrong! Every time I open my door it bothers me because I just know it's there! In the next week or two I'm going to put in a new grommet in the firewall for the express purpose of throwing my own wires through it...

there was a thread about these fogs before, not a good buy, cheap and not DOT approved, go with OEM instead:
