Installing factory Sirius tuner in 06 Pathy with Bose

I have researched and found some conflicting stories. My wife and I just got a 06 Pathfinder SE with Bose 6disc. We just ordered the 999U9-AS006 unit for it. From the PDF I found it appears to get installed in the rear truck jack tool area? http://www.infiniti-parts.com/...6.pdf

Is there a factory prewired harness there?Do I need to buy a harness?All I think I need is the tuner unit, mounting bracket, and antenna. Is this right?

Also had a question about adding a PAC AAI-NIS2. So I can a aux jack for my wifes mp3 player.

Has anyone done both or either of these installs?Any issues?Things to watch for?

Looking at adding the nav compartment for the garmin also. She currently has a Nuvi 200 will the fit in the bracket?

Replacing tires with stock any suggestions?

You MAY need the pre-wire, check to see if the pre-wire is located where it should be.

Have you looked at the Sirius portables, like the Stiletto S2? Lots of us use those. Using car docks (that are very easy to install) you can move an S2 from car to car, you can play it and record to it in your house (using a home dock), and you can play it portably as well. S2's also have wifi capability, and also function as Ipods by installing a micro SD card.

After all this we ordered a sirius tuner from our local nissan dealer. It cost us about $230 including tax. However we decided if there was any issues with it, it would be easier to deal with a local dealer rather than shipping or whatever. Anyways, we found our pathy had a sirius tuner in it already, no thanks to the sales person.......... Anyways it is so simple plug and play harness is right up behind the emergency brake area and if you need to install an antenna well they are pretty self explanatory. It works great completely integrated into the bose rado and steering wheel controls. If your installing on your own this should help http://www.infiniti-parts.com/...6.pdf

The next adventure is going to be installing a PAC AAI-NIS2 Nissan Infinity Aux Input module so my wife can hook up her mp3 player and a garmin dock on the dash top. The module is supposed to go inbetween the sat tuner and the head unit according to everything I can find about it. The factory garmin dash piece is easily modified to fit her nuvi 220.

Hi I currently have the OEM Sirius in my 06 Pathfinder and I also have a Stilleto 2. I would like to cancel the Car subscription and use the Stilleto 2 in the car to save money and I was wondering where I could install it where it would look good. If anyone has done a similar install in an 06 Pathfinder and has pictures would they be willing to post them so I can see what would work best for me. Thanks.
