How hard is it to install an exhaust system?

I figured to remove the stock exhaust youd have to unbolt the exhaust from both ends and shake it free. Is it that easy?

It's not hard. Just a matter of breaking tough bolts loose and getting everything free. Not a big deal.

You might consider getting some Liquid Wrench or other penetrant and soaking the bolts in that the night before you set about taking the stock system off.

Ya I have some of that. I was just wondering if there was more to installing it than met the eye. Guess not.

Those bolts aren't going to come off. Cut the majority of it off and wherever you need to keep the existing exhaust, get out a torch and heat those bolts up and then they should come loose just fine.

Here's how to remove the bolts in 15 minutes

1. Buy a can of RUST PENETRANT2. Spray liberally all over the bolts3. Wait 10 minutes4. Try each bolt, if you feel the nut bind then don't keep going, the bolt will break5. Respray penetrant and/or some WD40

Make sure you spray it "into" the threads, meaning just don't soak it but actively try to spray it into the threads.

If you got extra bolts/nuts just break the old ones off and replace them.

Mine didn't. Stripped the crap out of them and had to resort to torch and vice grips and then they came off smooth as could be.
