Installing distributer...help plz
hello nico,ok im in the middle of swapping a 95 ka into my 91' s13....i used the 91' intake and exaust manifolds but i need to know how to install the dizzy rotor back into the engine. to do the swap did i even need to swap the whole dizzy or just the cap....thanks for your input.......

ok thanks but do i use just the cap or do i use the whole thing including the dizzy rotor...thanks
if you're gonna just install the distributor willy nilly without first setting back to tdc and then installing the distributor, you'll have fun with several more posts about why it doesn't run right.
1. set engine to tdc2. rotate the distributor outside to ball park what it should look like at tdc3. install distributor and see if it's as close as you hoped.4. eventually when it does start up, fine tune your timing with a timing light, warm engine, and tps unplugged.
