Installing cold air intake on Altima SE-R

Hello, I had a simple question if anyone can answer for me. I have a 2006 Altima SE-R and I wanted to install an AEM cold air intake on it but i dont know if I have to remove the bumper or whatever the case may be. Please let me know the process. Thanks alot.

Most intake systems on the market will include installation instructions to guide you. A few of the ones that I've seen have mentioned removing the front bumper to make installation easier. In my opinion its really not necessary. Removal of the driver side wheel will probably be sufficient. Where the new filter sits there is a factory silencer that is quite bulky that needs to be removed. I've fanagled several installs without removing the bumper. Its all in how you want to do it. Make sure you have all the correct tools and just take your time.
