I'm planning to install camshafts and valvesprings in my S13 blacktop motor. I was wondering if these are the correct part numbers for the gaskets I will need.

Rocker cover gasket 13270-53J05 (x1)Plug well gasket 13271-53J02 (x4?)Center bolt gasket 13270-53J13 (x1)Chain Tensioner Gasket 13079-2J200 (x1)Chain Tensioner O-ring 13069-53J00 (x1)

Do the spark plug well gaskets come individually, meaning I will have to order 4 of them?

And also, do I have to worry about valve shim clearances when only installing cams and valve springs? Will it be alright as long as I do not mix up the shims?

Thanks.

yes I believe you need 4 of them. And don't mess up the shims.

The best advice i can give you when you're taking your head apart is to lay some paper towls out and label one end "Front" and the other "rear". Then as you pull the pieces out, lay them on the towel in the order they'd be in the head (ie valve #1 on the exhaust side would go at the front and then the successive valves would be stacked behind it towards the rear in order.)

Also, keep your cam caps in order as well.
