My basic idea is that i want to see more than just behind the car when parking, so i'd like to setup some cams on the left and right side but i'm not sure how I would run the wires.

After looking up some led strip topics I see people run the wires to the engine room and then to the dash. Since the cam would be in the middle of the side doors, i would prefer a more direct route, but I'm not sure if I can drill from the bottom of the car, or if it's even advisable.

I was hoping someone could give me some suggestions as to how to run the wires?

wouldn't it be easier to just practice your parking skills?

burned... lol

anyway, here are my 2 cents

1. how are you going to display the video? almost all in dash receivers have only 1 input
2. i dont really think they would help you park if there was something very high off the ground you couldnt clear.
3. drilling holes in the bottom of the car can cause issues with corrosion if not properly sealed, not really advisable but definitely do-able

seems very much like a novelty thing rather than something thats actually going to help you.

its definitely more novelty than true guidance but i like see how close i can get to an object before i touch it =)

that being said, i was considering the angle of view but it shouldnt be different than what i have now. as for monitors im not worried about that i have two screens up front and use a 4 way rf video switcher for something else, so i can implement that system again if need be.
