Ah - The "shift linkage". I see. BTW, that car in the pics is only a year old and already riced.

All that work and money for what? More engine wear and maybe 5 horsepower? Not worth it.

True, true. Looked like a HUGE job. Then putting it back to stock would suck. Well, at least now you can say you've done the install. :)

BTW, even though you see "charts" that show a HP increase, they aren't necessarily accurate. One of the biggest flaws in that testing is the fact that they test it on a dyno, without normal airflow over the front of the car. Believe it or not, the CAI can actually decrease HP in certain instances, if it is located in a low pressure area in the nose...

The factory intake is tested in a wind tunnel, where they can measure air pressure at certain parts of the nose of the car - I doubt AEM has done this.

Hope he doesn't drive through a deep puddle either.

My 90' camry had the intake in the inside of the wheelwell...that thing would ALWAYS screw up if you drive through at least 6 inch deep water at more than 20mph (hey, it's quite fun!) I always had to change the air filter out on that damn thing after big storms.

Dear Christ, what did you do to that poor valve cover?!It looks like it should say "CONSTRUCTION FOR NEXT 10 MILES" right in the middle.
