Where do i tap the boost and vac pressure for my turbo gauge >?Do i need to drill and tap or can I "T" off something existing

A/F ratio meter can i just splice into the O2 sensor and if so which wire ? What is recommended ??

Im also goin to install a fuel pressure gauge (electrical) and sensor.

Where is the best place to get all the 3 gauges aboveTurbo, A/F ration, and Fuel Pressure gauges and wiringat the most economical prices

Do you guys recommend something else other than Autometer ???

I have my boost gauge T'd off with my BOV. ( I am sure Ryan will throw a fit about that one again ;) )

most people recommend that you T it off from the FPR vacuum line, but boost is boost and vacuum is vacuum no matter where on the TB you get it from.

autometer is what i got, they look tight. heavy throttle to the left has all these gauges, the pod, and other cool stuff. there are directions with the gauge which match what 240keyy said, and the afr goes into the o2 sensor, how many wires come out of ur o2 sensor? should only be one, unless its heated, and mine isnt

afr should be plugged into the ECU somewhere, so you don't have wire splices all over your engine bay. And, BTW, AFR's suck hardcore, exchange it for an EGT.

And 240_Keyy is stupid for t'ing it off with the BOV. Factory specs you fool.

Both A/F and exhuast temp guages are extremely useful. If I could only have one it would be A/F but I like having the EGT as well. The Autometer is crap IMO though, I have christmas tree lights more stable!

Ok, I need an explanation for this. I know an EGT is usefull, but why does the AFR suck?

I do. :D

And knowing the A/F ratio doesn't suck at all. They're saying, and correctly so, that the Autometer gauge is nowhere near accurate because it uses the stock O2 sensor. In order to accurately tell the A/F ratio, you need a wideband 02 and someway to read it.

The FJO kit I have reads the A/F ratio in numbers (ex: 12.7) on an LED display that mounts inside where you can monitor it constantly and most important.....accurately.

Is there an existing threaded hole (plugged)Or did you have to drill and tap on your own ?

IF no hole is it ok to use read the boost in the plastic tube leading to the TB

you will have vacum ports on the plenum, im not sure how many on the Sr but i have only two on the CA plenum, and one is used by the FPR and the other is the boost gauge and BOV teed togther!

2 on top and one below right past the black hose , after the flap ( i think)

1 hose is already T for the either fuel pressure regulator or damper (front of engine)

I dont like to use the large hose that goes to the Brake booster and there is one that goes to the valve cover.

There is another that comes of the IC (stock) on driver side that goes into a small device

So any recomendations ????

best thing is to get another 02 housing welded into the o2 exstension or the top part of the down pipe the close to the exhaust manifold the better

I have to disagree my autometer a/f gauge has worked great, I put the vehicle on the dyno and when it ran lean the a/f gauge went lean right with the wideband was showing, then when it was rich it was rich, now yes a wideband is much more accurate but you can play around with your car if you have a SAFC or somtihng like that and get a ruff tune which is much better than nothing, better to be a little rich then running really lean with no a/f gauge and blow the motor...

Depends....if you still have the stock computer, you will need to have a separate bung welded elsewhere and run both the OEM and wideband sensors. If you go standalone, the computer will most likely be able to read it and you will only need the wideband sensor.
