Installing billet overlay grille

I just recieved my Billet grille and after removing the 8 retainer clips from the top of the front clip inside the engine compartment, I still dont have enough room to get my hand in there to install the plate and the nut on the studs that go through the OEM grill! Of course there wasn't any instructions with the grille! Has anyone already done it or does anyone have any tips? Thanks in advance!
