Hey all, I am new to this site. I was wondering if anyone has installed the Pioneer ND-G500 gateway amp to their murano. My wife has an 06 Murano (without Bose system). I bought her the Avic F500BT for her Murano, but also the amp to be able to hear the phone calls and directions through the factory stereo. I want to keep the install clean (if at all possible) so I was wondering if there is a wiring harness that can be used for this install or am I going to need to cut and splice. Any help would greatly be appreciated.

Thank you again

I bought this harness: Parrot car kit harness for NISSAN/INFINITI QCNIS-1. I do not have the Bose system, but the harness was simple. I plugged it right in with the NDG500 harness. No problems at all, works great now. Got the harness on e-bay for 39.99. Let me know if I can help in any other way.

I would think it would but you should check with who ever you buy it from. No I did not change the harness that came with the NDG500. Just match up the plugs, very easy install.

Info screen on the Murano displays the same thing. All the amp does is mute your radio when you use your bluetoothm Ipod connector, or GPS directions. The murano info screen does not change at all.

I have an F900BT in my 06 Murano, but our Aussie models have a different center console arrangement. The orange display is still in place and everything still works as factory. I cant say the same for the US models.

We had to use the high level outputs from the Pioneer. Trying to use the RCA's made the sound level far too low. So if you are replacing the amp I would say you will need to run fresh RCA leads from the new headunit.

One thing I am having trouble with is the steering controls. I have a PAC unit we tried hooking up today but cannot get it to work.

Jasher or anyone:

I want to order this amp but need to know if the harness NISSAN/INFINITI QCNIS-1 $40 only works for non Bose. I have an 05 Maxima with Bose and saw your note about Nissan Infiniti Bose/Rockford Adapter QCHBB-NI but that sucker is $140.......is this the only way to go?

Thanks - alec
