I recently bought one from frsport, im kind of retarded and sick right now and i dont know where to put it in-line, i have an sr and im assuming i put it on the line from the fuel filter that goes to the feed side of the rail is that correct? The pressure regulator side of the rail is for return right? Idk why i cant figure this out.

That does not make sense to me though because when the fuel comes out of the filter the pressure is not regulated. It is regulated while its in the rail, so would that mean that i have to place the inline gauge on the return line? Or does it build pressure and eventually stabilize after running for a second?

Depending on the FPR set-up you could run it on the return so it is reading the regulated pressure, or you can install it on the line going from your FPR to the fuel rail, just as long as the pressure has been regulated before the gauge is installed.

I'm confused again, i keep seeing people install their fuel pressure gauges right after the filter even though it has not entered the rail and been regulated yet.

This may work out in which its watching the rail pressure since it should be regulated in the rail and back out into the feed line also.

So this means that whatever pressure is going back to the tank is the excess pressure and is not what the fuel pressure in the rail actually is?

This is just so simple why is it so complicated.
