put the trans in first gear and turn the output shaft to line up the clutch teeth, and make sure its aligned. afterwords its just jiggleing it around

first clutch properly aligned?

second get 2 people, and get the transmission in with the back end pointing down... (so at least u get the shaft inside the pressure plate and the clutch, after that just lifting jiggling turning pushing) when ur near enough like 1 cm from the bellhousing and the motor just use the screws to mate it in

Loosen the engine mount bolts and raise the front of the engine slightly to tilt it back.

Either use two big guys or two lifts, one in front and back for the transmission. Rotate the transmission slightly so that the starter bulge is at 5 oclock. Push twist curse etc and rotate counterclockwise as it goes in. Watch out for the pressure plate splines.

There are a couple of good explanations posted on this. It's not much fun, but doable.

tilting the engine is the easy part, takes 10 minutes. Muscling the transmission back in takes awhile. I spent several hours, multiple attempts, three jacks- one tilting the engine, two on the transmission.

Input shaft guide pins are a big help, but yeah, past that it's all elbow grease and determination.
