never done it but I though you just unbolted the old one, then bolted in the new one...isnt the cat pretty much exposed and held in by a few bolts?Just make sure to replace the gasket, and spray some pb blaster on the bolts and let it sit a while first.

1.Jackup the car and putt some jack stands.2.WD-40 all the 10mm bolts holding the cat's heat shield on,remove shield.3.WD-40 the four 14mm nuts holding the cat to the downpipe and exhaust.4.Remove four 14mm nuts,Then remove the cat.5.Install new cat and new gaskets.6.Torque down 14mm nuts or bolts.Dont forget to bolt down the exhaust ground.7.Check for leaks.Done and Done

please tell me you can not see right thru this cat if you look from the inlet to the outlet (at least if you do care about emissons) because if you can as in it looks like a big empty pipe then you just bought yourself a test pipe (which isnt bad if you dont care) and you will fail 90% of emissions tests

I've been looking for a replacement catalytic on ebay, and have had a *very* hard time finding anything other than test/resonator pipes.

i know this is a little old, but i was wondering how the ebay "cat" turned out. how does it sound? notice any difference in power? did everything match up?

I was thinkin about getting one, i'm not really concerned about emissions.

was not hard the sound is deeper and can feel a difference at high rpm. it is worth the money especially if you are going to get a turbo some time in the future less back pressure more hp.
