I need some help installing a groundwire kit, since I have no installation instructions. I have 7 wires, plus a mounting plate, and another plate with 3 holes. There's also a terminal adapter, and a cylindrical threaded spacer. There are also 8 small bolts for mounting the wires to the plate.

Where do I mount each wire in the engine bay, and where do I mount the plate? Also, the terminal adapter would have to replace my negative battery terminal, so how would that work? Where do I use the 3-hole plate and the threaded spacer?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. So for now I'm gone for a long drive since I just got the Max back today (after a month) with a new transmission, and Just got done re-installing the SRI, and installing a FSTB.

The stock negative wire from the battery goes to a bolt on the engine.

Run an additional ground wire from the battery to this bolt. You should be able to piggyback the additional ground wire to the factory battery terminal clamp.

Use this bolt as the end point for all other ground wires you install.

Run one ground wire to the alternator. Run a ground wire from one of the fuel injector ground points. There are multiple fuel injector ground points, so run a 2nd ground as well.

There's no good easily accessible ground for the TPS or MAF or else you could run an additional ground there.

Throw away the rest of the crap they included in the kit, it only serves to increase the ground resistance, which is exactly what you're trying to decrease. There's no other easily accessible sensors in the engine bay to add a piggyback ground properly.

Thanks.

Is this thing any good? They sent it with the kit, apparently it's a voltage stabalizer. Is that just a Capacitor that charges while the car is on, and holds the charge until the next startup or something? Or is that also crap?

Looks like crap to me, unless you plug it into your stereo's 1000W amplifier or something.
