First of all this is not a replacement of a grill but goes on the top of the grill with 3m double tape. After all a lot of people here think that billet grill doesn't look good on Rogue either but it doesn't mean everybody don't like it..
Last year the local Nissan dealership was doing some special custom work on a few of its new 2009 Maxima's by adding things like Webasto Sunroofs and stainless steel billet grills. I thought the billet grill was one of the coolest looking aftermarket mods I'd ever seen. After getting my Rogue one of the first mods I looked into was the billet grill.
However... I soon discovered to install a billet grill on the Maxima, Lexus, Acura etc... you remove the factory grill and install the billet grill in its place. The result is a custom looking upgrade because the new grill is recessed in the same way the original grill was. The Rogues grill is not removable because it is "molded in" and is an integral part of the front nose piece. NET: On a Rogue, the billet grill is not installed in, but rather simply stuck on top of the factory grill with 3M tape. Can you say tacky? As a result it sticks out above the surrounding surfaces and thus catches cleaning cloths, car wash brushes etc.
