installing a aftermarket tach on an rb20

i SUCK at wiring anything and well i wanted to know how do i wire a tach on to my car...my friend said he would do it but he need it a pin out or something..i know nothing about the meaning of that. It was hard enough doing the swap on my own lol

Be damned sure you are looking at the computer correctly and count the pins right!Make sure this RB20DET is from an R32!

look at the plug as it enters the computer, the 16-pin block should be to the left. In the 20 pin block to the left of the 10mm bolt count from the center on the top row, it's the fourth pin.

how do i know if its from an r32

Did you see the cut it came from? R32 Skyline engine would have silver valve covers and a factory BOV on the crossover pipe leading to the TB
