now how do i connect them????????....just don't want to blow them up or anything....lol...

the ballast is off of a MAXIMA....there is a black wire hanging out by itself.....another black wire with dots and the third is red and yellow with dots

.....so is that two negatives....one to the car ground and one to the headlight ground....the red and yellow to the headlight positive right......

the two negative have thrown me off....so i want to double check....i know that two grounds a better than one but lots of hid's come with 1 grnd

i'm just tired of the Halogens.....

How is it wired on the Max? Use a similar method.

I did this over a year ago and posted alot about using OEM HIDs.You have a ground wire a positive wire and they need to be wired into the headlight harnesses in you car "the wires that go to the stock bulbs" so the HIDs will turn on from the tree off of the steering wheel. If you dont know wich one is power use a test light. there should be 2 ground wires one goes to the body and you have to use it or you could be shocked by 20k volts from those ballast so be careful.

Almost every HID kit Ive seen only has a power and ground wire on it. What I would do is get a multimeter out and see if your 2 black wires are connected together using continuity, or see if that wire is showing voltage before grounding it. Just so nothing burns up.

Don't forget to wire up a relay. It's not 100% completely necessary, but being the s13's wiring is quite old, it'd be a good idea. The last thing you wanna do is fry all of your wiring.
