I previously had a set of Altima fans, and they were nice, but this is so much better. I went ahead and wired the relay to switch off of the fuel pump (so that the fan runs all the time) and I can actually feel a breeze getting out of the car from the hood prop. The fan flows soooo much more air than the Altima fans ever did. With the Alty fans, I would see 3/4 or better on my stock gauge (190ish on my Autometer) on the highway. Now, solid 180 and 1/2 on the stock gauge. Wow. I highly reccomend the fan. i got it w/o thermostat on eBay for $86 shipped.

Sounds awesome RICO, hopefully I can order one soon, along with a Nismo FPR. After both of those things, higher duration cams are in order, then a bigger turbo aka 2871r .64ar and 550cc injectors.

Anways, be sure to take a picture and post it up. Id like to see how it fits on the Koyo.

Well, I had to trim a little to get it to fit. The height of the Koyo is damn near 16", so a 14" fan would fit with no mods, but I wanted the extra ~700cfm that the 16" provides. My only issue is that the fan is so beefy, that it spinning after the power is cut actually powers the fuel pump relay until it stops, effectivly keeping the car running for a few seconds after the key is removed. I reccomend a Zirgo thermostat, and many of the fans on eBay include one. I "saved" $15 by buying one w/o a thermo, only to have to order one for $46 shipped

if you wire in a diode into the power wire it will stop the fan from generating power and powering your fuel pump after you turn off the car. diodes are like one way valves for electricity

I did a search, and I can't find where to get a diode that would work for my application. Any ideas? Is that something that I could get at Radio Shack?

I just installed my Zirgo temp controller. Pretty cool that the the fan stays running for a minute or two after the car is off.

I actually just got my Zirgo 14" up and running today with the temp control. This fan pushes some major air, and I love how the temp control unit allows you to either set the temp higher or lower, or leave the fan running all the time. I'm pretty happy with buying this fan compared to the more expensive flex-a-lite's(nothing against fal users)

Yeah, the 16 is a little big. I should have gone with the 14", but oh well. I need to go borrow a digicam (I sold my old ones in anticipation of buying a new one and life got in the way, LOL) This fan moves some serious air. I can feel a majot difference with my hand in front of it, and the temp gauge shows several degrees (5+) lower.
